Resident & Fellows Council at the Missouri ACP Scientific Meeting
Greetings!
As Chair of the Missouri ACP Resident and Fellows Committee I would like to extend an invitation to join us for our council events at this year's Missouri ACP Conference. These will take place at Margaritaville Lake Resort (formerly Tan-Tar-A Resort at the Lake of the Ozarks) on Saturday, September 21, starting with our Annual Council Meeting at 11:00 AM where we will hold elections for next years council and make plans for the coming year.
Following this, at 11:30 AM we will be holding a luncheon in collaboration with the Missouri ACP Hospitalist Committee.
At this event we join together for a panel discussion geared towards any resident whether they are interested in a career in internal medicine or fellowship. We will cover topics including but not limited to:
-Adjusting to post-residency life
-The Hospitalist Career-path
-Financial Planning after your training years
I expect this event to go for about an hour which will leave plenty of time for residents to hang posters prior to the poster competition.
I encourage you to send me questions you would like answered from our panelists
Lunch will cost residents $10 and can be paid for when you register for the conference online. I hope to see you all there!!
